The 42 Laws of Ma’at, also known to many as Divine Principles of Ma’at, are inscribed in the walls of Ancient Kemet and in the Papyrus of Ani. Translated by E.A. Wallace Budge in “The Egyptian Book of the Dead”, this Ancient record is preferably called “The Book of the Coming Forth By Day and By Night” by those in the New Kemetic Community, and advises One as to how to live in this life so that One’s heart will be as light as a feather on the Scale of Balance upon entering the realm of The Ancestors. This design highlights Law or Principal #11 – “I have not closed my ears to truth.”
